What'll you have?

I started measuring this blog's traffic a couple weeks ago. It looks like despite a lack of frequent (or particularly interesting) updates, it gets a surprising number of views per day. So my question to you, loyal readers, is - what do you want to read about here? I'll do my best to accomodate your requests in future posts.

I'd like to know how you'd deck out a new Giant Anthem X with sweet hayes group parts.

Ha! That little wonder of fully-suspended fastness is gonna get a Manitou R7 fork (silver for 2009), a Manitou S-Type SRL shock, Hayes Stroker Gram brakes, and SUNringle' Black Flag wheels. I'm targeting a complete weight of 24lbs, including pedals.

Just found you via your personal blog which I ran across via Twitter.

Tim Jackson does a very good job of mixing the personal with the company stuff at his blog. Emulate him (without being too much of a copycat - be yourself) and you won't go wrong. Suggestions:

* Product news is always good, of course.

* Maybe mention some of the other people involved at Hayes, company history, personalities, etc.

* Talk about some of the people or teams you sponsor.

* Technical tips, perhaps?

* For the fanboys: What goes into the process of printing a manual or ad copy or whatever.

Thanks for the comment, Yokota. Tim's blog, yours, and a number of others have served as helpful examples. Our new Manitou website will be very social-media-centric. You'll find many of your suggestions incorporated there, if not at launch, shortly thereafter.

I'd like to see HBG employee's and affiliates' bike fleets, or even just single bikes with Specs. My personal fleet is full of beauties that I nerd out on every day. I'd like to see everyone else's bikes, isn't that what we're in this for? Sweet!

You got it, Mr. Manitou! Our head wheelbuilder (http://lifeintherustytoolshed.blogspot.com) has something like 28 bikes, so there's certainly no lack of material. I just put together a new Giant Anthem X using all HBG components, so that's a possible blog subject, too. Thanks for the suggestion.
